To begin Mauricio was absolutely fantastic from the very first email exchange, then numerous questions we had, he was amazing seven days a week and about any time of the day!

The result for my wife and I was a truly memorable vacation one that was very unique compared to the many we have had to many different countries.

We wish we could have Mauricio guide us on all our future travels! He represents the word “excellence” perfectly!

The most memorable part of my trip… OMG the rain forests, seeing animals in the wild, learning from very knowledgeable guides on every tour made the experience a learning experience as well as incredible fun!

Thank you for the attention that we received on our quick tour of Costa Rica. The planning was excellent and played out exactly as it was planned. We appreciated your quick replies and making sure to answer my questions so clearly. It helped ease our minds quite a lot. Since we were often just hoping that things would work out and that all the timing would be fine it was nice to be comforted along the way even though you may have already provided some of the information.

We had a great time on our tour in Costa Rica. On our end, we are going on faith that everything would work out, that drivers would appear and that everything would be as you said it would be. Well, it was. Drivers magically appeared and were always early. We would arrive at the pick up point a little early, which was always an obvious place, and the driver would be there waiting for us. They were all courteous, timely and usually fast. Almost all of them had wifi in the car, van or bus. Some were chatty, others not us much but all were willing and able to answer any questions. They were all great.

Tour guides again were all excellent. They were all knowledgeable and provided a lot of good information on every tour and outing that we went on.There were no communication problems. It was all very smooth, on time, interesting and fun.

The lodgings were all perfect for our family, comfortable and always in a great setting. The grounds, food and service were all excellent. I loved the different juices at every meal. We found that our lodgings were alway close to where we needed to be making it easy to get around. Given the Costa Rican heat, it was nice that they all had pools.

Our tours were all very good. Tortuguero was awesome. Even the drive there, although long, was interesting seeing the landscape, villages and the various plantations along the way. The canal tours were great. Plenty of wildlife and a lot of birds. The guides could see things that were invisible to us and were able to point them out, often getting us as close as possible to the animals to see and take pictures. It was a great trip for the entire family. The guide also took us out on a shorter night walk and pointed out many more interesting things. Also very good. All the boats and drivers were great. We again saw all kinds of wildlife at Manuel Antonio thanks to our guide and the beaches were stunning.

Trying to pack a country into 8 days isn’t easy but this was pretty good. We really should have gone for a minimum 10 days which would have eased up the travel a little and allowed for more exploration, but we did what we could with the time that we had, making for a memorable trip. We hope to get back and use your services again and see some more of what Costa Rica has to offer.

We had a great driver who picked us up promptly from our hotel in San Jose and waited patiently until we got our family organized. The drive was very educational, Daniel spoke about the history of the country, current affairs and ecology. We ALL learned so much during the drive to Arenal.

Daniel even stopped at a great cloud forest where he taught us even more about the wildlife that was there.

We can’t wait for our next trip to Costa Rica, we’ll be using Travel Excellence even more to plan out our excursions.

Communication was great from beginning to end, these guys are real professionals!

We’ve gotten home safely. We really enjoyed the trip and we really appreciate how helpful you’ve been throughout the whole trip. The trip was really well planned and we enjoyed everything stress-free thanks to you. We will 100% come back to you for future trips to CR, and I will wholeheartedly recommend you to all my friends and family who plan to visit CR.

Mauricio was absolutely wonderful! He spoke on the phone with us multiple times in planning our trip to make sure we were getting exactly the experience we were looking for asking about the level of adventure we were seeking, our favorite activities, and had suggestions that we hadn’t even considered. It made us feel so excited that he was as invested in our experience being fun and unique as we were!

Once we arrived in Costa Rica, we felt immediately welcomed with little stuffed sloth friends greeting us in our airport transfer. Everything wildly exceeded our expectations! Our accommodations were AMAZING and wildly exceeded our expectations. All of our guides were so personable and fun, and Mauricio somehow managed to always have us be with a small group or have private excursions. The cherry on top was how communicative he was during our trip to make sure that we were having an excellent time!

El viaje ha sido el mejor de nuestras vidas, nos ha encantado Costa Rica, su gente, todos los sitios en los que hemos estado, su comida… Vamos un viaje de 10.

Estamos encantados con el itinerario que nos habéis organizado, con los transportes siempre puntuales, y los conductores súper atentos.

Los hoteles que nos elegisteis una pasada también, y su personal genial.

Y sobretodo con vosotros, siempre tan atentos y contestando a cualquier duda que nos surgía.

Ojalá pronto podamos volver y por supuesto lo volveríamos a hacer con ustedes sin dudarlo.

No cabe ni un solo pero en este viaje, no cambiaríamos nada de nada.

Got back Sat to 12 inches of snow and 24 degrees!  It was brutal!  I wish I was putting on shorts and flip flops

I wanted to thank you one last time.  We had the best trip ever!!!  Travel Excellence really delivered!  Everything was exactly as promised.  The hotels were amazing, the drivers were on time and so nice, the tours were adrenaline filled but safe.  I don’t have a single complaint or regret.  American travel agency’s could learn something from Travel Excellence!

Lastly, I can’t say enough about the beauty of your country, but even more impressive to me was the people.  I was blown away by the overall kindness.  Not just at our fancy resorts but everywhere.  You should be really proud!
