Maquenque Ecolodge is very well-known as ideal place for nature lovers. Its 68 acres of rainforest bordering San Carlos river is an amazing place to find a great variety of flora and fauna, making this the perfect place for birdwatchers. Currently, more than 592 species of birds have been identified on-site.
This lodge offers 15 bungalows and 8 tree houses equipped with: hot water (through solar panels), private bathroom, ceiling fan, open closet, balcony with a beautiful view to a natural lagoon or to the forest for the tree houses, where you can relax in a hammock to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature.
The new addition of this lodge are two Junior Tree Houses providing a higher lodging experience to guests with the private location, warm design with a combination of wood and glass and the nicest feature, of being built 14 meters high from the ground. Climb a staircase that surrounds the trunk of the tree and sleep above the treetops.
Some amenities of these new Junior Tree Houses are: 60m2 room, 2 queen size beds + 1 single bed, sofa bed, hot water, ceiling fan and terrace.
